This may be a scam. Chase has not been suing any of my clients for a couple of years now. And lawsuits are not commenced by dropping something in the mail. Usually, an action is commenced by filing a summons and complaint. These are filed at the court or magistrate (if its in small claims) and then served by the sheriff.

I have a policy - anyone asks for money then they need to send verification first. No verification - then they do not get a penny.

No! Do not make any payment plans! Payment plans are usually a bad deal unless you have a lot of assets which might be at risk.

Why did you give this person your bank card??? Never ever give anyone especially a debt collector access to your banking information. First thing tomorrow, you had better run down to the bank and close your account immediately. It will not be enough just to close the card - the collector might be able to figure out the bank routing information and your checking account information somehow.

The rest of your post does not really make sense as to what happened. As I said, you must close your bank account and ATM car immediately.
