Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Car Problems

My girlfriend asked me to get a car in my name for her and that she would make the payments. She has had the car for two years and after we broke up she missed two payments in a row. I went and took the car from her, can she sue me for money she paid into the vehicle? All documents are in my name and so is the insurance.

Re: Car Problems

The car is yours. She can sue you, but she would have to prove that there was an agreement between the two of you and what the terms of that agreement were.

It seems that she would be unlikely to prevail unless there is such a document.
