Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Collection Action

I have two credit card accounts that have gone unpaid for almost a year and have been sent to a collection agency. What will happen if I don't agree to their terms and they sue me for non-payment?

Re: Collection Action

You will most likely be sued before a Magisterial District Justice. It is wise to defend these cases since credit card companies almost always charge exorbitant interest and you will likely have a defense to at least part of the amount that is being claimed.
