Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Collection address/fax

I have a judgement against me. Im working with the institution of collection to settle this per the District judges office. I got another loan to pay this loan off. This collection agency says they did not receive the funds. Because I want to cover myself, I wanted to send a certified mail of the copy of the check showing it was paid from my bank. The institution states to me I cannot mail them a certified letter of the copy of the check. They insist on fax. What advice do you have on dealing with this? Im trying to cover myself, but they are very difficult dealing with.

Re: Collection address/fax

Send a copy by certified mail. When it comes back unsigned send another copy by regular mail. File a proof of service of the copies with the District Judge's office. I think that will probably work.
