collection bill

my son was in a drug & alcohol rehab for about 8 mo. when he came home he had a credit card bill to pay. he got a job and has made payments except the last one. he just didn't have the money, so now they are handing it over to attorneys. what can he do?

Re: collection bill

If a Complaint is filed against him, he should answer it. Even if the credit card company is successful in obtaining a judgment, an answer may reduce the amount of the judgment.
