Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
Collection
I lost a case with Capital One last year (It is credit card debt I owe from five years ago when I lost my job) - Offered to pay them $100 dollars a month, but they laughed and said I would need to pay them at least $700 a month. I am a full-time student and work only part-time. I can not file for bankruptcy, because I will be unable to get my student loans if I do - I plan on filing for it when I am almost ready to graduate, to get rid of the $40,000 of old credit card debt I owe. They just seized my bank account and left me with nothing, the credit card debt was unsecured, and I offered to make them payments, so now what do I do. I will be homeless living under a bridge to make them happy - I have tried for two days to talk to the lawyer at their firm but no reply from him yet.

Re: Collection
You asked about collections and a siezed bank account.
You are asking for legal assistance a little late.
Student lenders are generally not allowed to consider bankruptcy in determining whether or not to grant a student loan.
A seized bank account should be evaluated immediately as to whether it is worth it to fight the freeze. Any automated deposits to that account should be stopped forthwith.
You need to speak with a lawyer to resolve these issues.
