If I'm paying on a hospital bill every month, can they send my bill to collections

I don't know of any law that stops the hospital from sending unpaid bills to collections. There may be some limitations imposed on hospitals if they accept Medicare or Medicaid, however. I do not know if this is one of those limitations.
