Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
We have a construction company that is being sued for trash removal for approximately $2000.00 that was not paid.....however, our company had nothing to do with this and is being named wrongfully...also, it is in our state, but is in a place that is 2 to 3 hours away.....how do we handle this

Have you been sued in PA? Then get a civil litigation lawyer immediately. You may have certain defenses or objections which can only be raised in court. You have 20 days in PA from the date that you were served.
If you do not file an answer or object, then a default judgment will be entered against your company and you will be required to pay regardless of whether you owe the money or not.
