Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Credit Card Collection Suing through local magistrate

I am being sued by a credit collection attorney's office through my local magistrate for a debt I haven't paid. They have added $1,500 to the already owed $2,300.

What will happen to me? I am on social security and used the card to buy prescriptions for myself and husband and then couldn't pay the card.

If you have no assets to seize all the judgement does is give them a fancy piece of paper that you owe them money. If you do have assets you should fight the action at the district court. Credit card companies tack on fees and charges that may be unlawful to enforce. I offer free consultations.
