Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
Credit Card Debt
Can a Credit Card/Collection agency attach a Judgment, lien or take money from/to a Checking/Savings account of a Husband and Wifes Joint Account if the Credit Card is in only in the Husbands name? If so can they attach to Wifes account if the Debt is in the Husbands name?
Also, can they have a sherriff sale on items located inside the house, i.e TV's, stoves, furniture?

The short answer is no. However, they may try if they have a judgment. If they do, the other spouse needs to file a claim with the Sheriff's Office.
Re: Credit Card Debt
The previous response was correct, but I think you need a little more. If the judgment has not been entered yet, you really need to defend the case against the collection agency. They are beaten with great frequency in Allegheny County, where you are located. A good consumer attorney can provide assistance in that regard.
