Can you please tell me if credit card companies are permitted to wage attach your payroll checks for balances due on the credit cards?

Your wages may not be attached in Pennsylvania for this type of debt. However, your bank account can be garnished after the wages (or any other type of funds) are deposited.

Pennsylvania law forbids wage attachment for payment of this type of debt.
