Re: credit card debt

You asked about working with a debt relief company.

Stop. Immediately go speak with an attorney. The debt relief company may be a scam that takes the money you "save" while you go into default on your debts.

Seriously. Today. Make an appointment with a consumer law attorney. You will probably need to recover your funds from the debt relief agency and then negotiate with your debtors.

As to your question, the debtors can obtain a judgment and then place a lien against secured assets and even seize unsecured non-exempt assets.

I hope you get the message, go see an attorney immediately.

Regards,

Roger
