Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

credit card

A credit card filed a suit in my local county and never had me served to go to court. They supposedly got a judgement against me and are now threatening to sheriff sale my belongings. I have nothing, not even a car and need to know if they can garnish my wages in P.A?

Re: credit card

They cannot garnish your wages but they can sell your personal belongings. I suggest that you consider a bankruptcy which will avoid the sale and void the judgment.
