Re: Credit Problem WRIT OF EXECUTION

If there is a writ fo execution, there was a judgment. Did you contest the judgment, or was it by default? If you contested it, you are out of luck unless you want to file an appeal, but you must have a valid basis or an appeal.

Re: Credit Problem WRIT OF EXECUTION

So, if you got a writ of execution, that means that you were sued and they got a judgment against you. Did you respond to the suit, or did you ignore it? If it is a default judgment (meaning you ignored it) then you would have to have a valid reason to reopen the judgment and go back to square one...very difficult.

If you contested it and lost, then you needed to appeal.

If you ignored it the whole way through, that wasn't wise. They can attach property (things) that you own, and can have the sheriff come and take them up to the value of the debt.
