Credit Report Judgements

Will my credit be less affected if I have one large credit card judgement or several smaller ones? How high does the balance need to be before a company will consider it ''worth'' initiating a lawsuit?

Don't let the credit card companies get judgments against you in the first place. Whether you can afford an attorney or not, when you get a letter from the Magisterial District Judge, call and tell them that you intend to defend. At worst, you will be able to settle with them. I've seen them file actions for as little as $1,200.
