Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
My dad is very ill. We have found out he is dying from cancer and other complications. I am on probation in Pa with only classes still to finish. I am caregiver for the past 7 months, I have been going back and forth between here and fl, I can take the class in Fl. How do I go about trasfering my Pa probation? My probation officer doesn't seem to care for me and has said no before to transferring. I have been told tht he is not allowed to deny me.(I'm not breaking the law I have a travel permit), I also have a very good job down in fl on top of it. So what should I d? I have tried to get other family members to help, it's not their fault, they can't do it or handle it and my father only wants me. There is alot that has to be done. What can I do?

This is not a credit/debt collection issues. Its a criminal law issue and one which you need to address with a PA criminal attorney. In fact, the attorney who handled the criminal charges which led to the probation would be a good start.
I haven't done any criminal law in a long time but there has to be a motion that you could file with the trial court in your circumstances to modify the conditions of your parole. The probation officer isn't the right hand man of God and I can't believe that the decision would rest squarely with him. However, this is just my opinion. You can try reposting here, but direct your question to a criminal law attorney in the Philadelphia or surrounding area.
