Debt repayment

I borrowed $7,000.00 from a family member, and I signed a statement that I owed the money but only promised to repay but not when or how. I have made $2500.00 repayment over 2 years,but the family member the family is seekig a judgement against me for quicker payment. I don't have the me money to make quicker payment. What can I do?

You can defend the lawsuit. Terms are an important part of any contract. If they are not delineated, then how do we know when you were to repay the debt?
