Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
Debt Responsibility Upon Death of Spouse
My husband recently passed away. He had several credit cards in his name only. Am I, as his wife, responsible for the balance on those accounts? Also, Am I responsible for any medical bills accrued during his illness?

I suggest you seek advice from legal counsel. You are not responsible for the credit cards. However, the medical bills may your resposibility. A spouse is responsible for necessities. Gerald Hershenson Esq.
