Debt Resposibility

In the event of the death of an unmarried adult,are any of his relatives financially responsible for debt(ie credit cards,bank loans,mortage payments)to any institution that were only in that persons name at the time of their death?

No. Not even if they are named beneficiaries on his life insurance.
