Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I am due to appear in small claims court for a wedding cancellation fee. My question is about the judgment that will be put against me. How will the venue claim their money? The do not have ss # or any financial information on me. I do not intend to appear. How will this affect me?

The judgment will appear on your credit report, they will file the judgment in court, the sheriff will come to your house to take an inventory of your property, the sheriff may then auction off some of your personal property, they could put a lein against any property you own, could attach your bank accounts, etc. It would be best if you contacted an attorney in order to protect your assets. If you have no assets, then there won't be much they could do.
