Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Engagement Separation

My daughter and Fiance split. He could not get credit for wedding rings and the one she chose for herself did not suit him. He talked her into a 1300 dollar ring for her and 2-400 rings for them at the service. They are no longer engaged. He left. She signed for the rings and can't afford them. The store will not take them back because of a 90 day return policy. They are not engraved. What can she do? If she defaults on the credit how bad will it hurt her in the future?

Re: Engagement Separation

I think she's stuck with the rings. At least she isn't stuck for his like most guys end up being after going into hawk for rings. It's good that they aren't engraved so it will be easier to resell them. She may want to file a case against the fiance and the store with a Magisterial District Justice but if they both take a hard line I think she'll lose.
