Faliure to pay credit card debt

What is the statute of limitations on credit card debt, and if sued by collection agency or attorney firm ,what action can be taken against you?

The statute of limitations is four (4) years. If you are sued by a collection agency you must answer the Complaint and raise the statute of limitations as a defense. It is considered an affirmative defense that can be waived if it is not raised.
