Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I filed for debt consolidation on February 8, 2011. However, I received a call from phone number (760)-284-4637 without identification of the company calling only a foreign speaking individual named Jennie Smith. I'm told this is time sensitive and I should call or have my attorney call which I do not have. At the end of the message they say may god help you and good luck. What should I do?

If its from people with an accent, chances are this is a payday lender. Contact your state attorney general and file a complaint about these people. Either than or a scam.

There is nothing these people can do to you except call. It is doubtful that they would expend funds to sue you.

Chances are that these people failed to register with the Attorney General if they are legitimate payday lenders in which case I would file a complaint with the state atrorney general about them.
