Grandsons dept
My 23 year old Grandson died and I am being flooded with request to pay his outstanding bills.I was his legal guardian by court decree.Am I responsable?

You are only obligated to pay the legitimate debts of your grandson from his personal assets, not your assets. If he had no assets, or only limited assets, you are not obligated to take your personal money to pay those debts. You should consult with an attorney for more specific advice. Your local county Bar Association usually can refer you to a lawyer who will give you 1/2 hour of advice for a very moderate fee.
