Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Harassing phone call

I received a phone call from someone stating to be calling from a law office. He said I had a legal case file and if I did not call him back there would be legal consequences and a ''shocking suprise.'' He also stated I should hire an attornet because of my breach of contract. He knew my social security number and previous address, and checking account information. I was wondering what I need to do, and if he can legally do anything. If i get a response, I can give you more information about the phone call. Please help!

Re: Harassing phone call

It sounds like a debt collector. Ask him for his name and his number and who he represents. Get as much information about him as possible. Then you may want to consult with an attorney to call him back.
