My husband and I have 2 judgements against our home. My mother in law wants to pay off our home... will that affect the judgements at all?.. We dont want to lose our home.

Pay the judgments instead or settle them - if you own property free and clear and have outstanding judgments, there is NO homestead exemption in PA and creditors can seize residential property. Judgments on land can be revived after 5 years, so you need to get these judgments resolved one way or another (settle or file bankruptcy).
