Judgement and liens??

Can a credit card company or collection agency enter a judgement or lien on real property that is jointly owned by husband and wife if the debt is only in the wifes name.

I wanted to clarify my last answer a bit.

In Pennsylvania a property held as a tenant by the entirety is not subject to process by a creditor holding a claim as against one tenant. It is not considered an "asset" of the debtor. However, it would be a lien against any other property of the debtor.

Yes. If the credit card company may obtain a judgment against the wife alone and I believe that would be a judicial lien attaching to the property.
