Judgments & Leins
If a creditor obtains a judgment against me, what property can they seize. I am married with 2 childrn. I have a house, but it is mortgaged ( no equity). I have two cars 1997 cavalier appx. value $1,100, and a 1986 Camaro appx. value $900, and not much else besides house hold goods. Can they take the house hold goods, ie..TV, couch beds. I also have a lawn trater that I boughtst Sears, and am still paying on.

Re: Judgments & Leins
If all of your property is held with your wife (tenancy by the entireties) and the judgment is against you alone, your wife would file a claim for exemption with the Sheriff and they cannot execute against that property. Anything that you hold in your own name may be subject to execution with the exception of property that is specifically exempt by statute.
