Lawsuit

A company is trying to contact me saying i have a lawsuit pending?? I can't understand the people calling- i have recieved nothing in the mail- they tell me i am a suspect, want my attorney information(dont have one) and knew my ss# and address. I have no idea what this is about and have received nothing in the mail. The number on my caller id does not list a complete number either- could this be a scam??

It could be a scam...or it could be a collection agency violating the law right and left. Do you get a complete number when you *69? If they know your SS#, you have a problem. You should notify the police, and the telephone company, and have them put a trace on the phone. Then, if it turns out to be a collection agency, feel free to get back to me as you have several claims against them.
