Am I legally responsible for my deceased wifes credit card in her name?

I received a call offering a reduced settlement after I notified of death.

It was a collection agency but I beieved it was barckleys bank.

When I CALLED BACK the agency said the account went back to the bank.

Taalked to bank said accouunt not available for a reduction.

Amount $1500 was offered $1000.

If you did not sign for the credit card you are not liable. Her estate may be liable, though.
