Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

i live in pennsylvania and had a payday loan in 2007 which was supposed to be taken directly from my checking acct but wasnt paid due to nsf ..now i have a supposed legal company calling and saying they are pressing bad ck charges on me ...i dont have a prob paying this but i cant get a letter with their info and the repayment terms with their fees and without that i have no proof of anything .... all they want me 2 do is get a prepaid visa and pay it over the phone that way......can they do this ??????

Do not order a prepaid visa. this is a scam, of sorts. Any company that will not give you a written settlement offer and then accept a check is not worth dealing with. Pull your credit and see who is reporting the debt against you. Then, use a consumer attorney such as myself, or another firm, to send a validation letter.
