Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
A local motorcycle dealership sold my bike on 6/5/10 for the agreed amount of 2500. and agreed in writing to send me a check in 14 days, When contacted via phone on day 23 they said they had some financial problems and that the money would be sent when a pending deal with a local utility company was resolved. Do I have a case?

Yes. I do not know what the terms were - sounds like they agreed to sell your bike and that they would keep a fee for their work and send the rest to you. If that is the case, then sue for what they owed you. If you already paid them, then sue for the whole amount. You sue in magistrates court.
