I went and found a flat screen tv for 599.00 at first she was fine was it, but now its not good enough. Not to much when she tried to clean the milk up she cleaned it with a paper towel and a better knife. Can you please tell what i should do, i am wits end.. Thank you Marie

Quite often parents are responsible for the acts of their children. You may be responsible to put that person back into the position that she was in prior to your visit. How old was the TV? Was it ruined? Was the screen wrecked? Were the innards wrecked?

In my opinion you didn't need to replace the TV but rather should have had it repaired by a reputable dealer/repair shop. If It was unsalvageable you needed to compensate her in the book value of a TV the same age and condition that she had. In other words, take a look on EBay and see what that type of TV is selling for at that age. That's probably what you owed her. Not too mention that any damage she did while trying to clean it up should have been on her.

Hope this helps.

Roger
