Paying off a judgement
I had judgement placed against me in district court. Who do I/can I contact to make arrangements for payment plan? I cannot pay off the entire judgement in one lump payment.

Re: Paying off a judgement
If it is within 30 days of entry of judgement you are in entitled to appeal the case to the court of common pleas in the county in which the case was brought. Most creditors will make payment arrangements rather then spend the money to fight the case in the common pleas court. If it is past 30 days you, or an attorney on your behalf, should contact either the cerditors attorney who handled the case at districr court or, if there was no attorney, the creditor directly. Unless you have assets that are readily seizeable most creditors are willing to accepts payments on a payment plan basis. I offer free consultations.
