Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I recently defaulted on a car loan and my vehicle was repossessed. I was wondering what kind of legal actions could be taken on me, or if there were any steps I could take to help myself.

The creditor can sue you for the unpaid balance. If you owe lots of debts, then file bankruptcy.

There is no other way to protect yourself. They will sue and you will be stuck paying for a car that you no longer own. The only other option is to start saving your money now and hope that you will have enough saved by the time they sue to either pay off the debt in full or make a decent settlement OR you will have enough for a downpayment and can pay the balance over time.
