repayment of loan

i recently went to small claims court because my ex-girlfriend did not repay a loan i gave her.the judgement was in my favor for 2200 dollars.when i was in court the judge told me he would mail us his decision.i received it and he said i won,but that was all it said.how do i start getting reimbursed?this judgement was in feb. and i have not heard anything or seen cent.is there anything i can do to get paid?thanks .

Re: repayment of loan

You must file a request for execution. That can only be done if no appeal has been taken from the judgement. A party has thirty days to appeal. During that period no action can be taken. After the thirty days, the judgement creditor must pay a fee to the court to schedule the sale. I suggest you visit the Court and speak to the constable about the procedure. You might also might want to consult legal counsel.
