Stolen Checks/Credit Card

My daughter (22) & boyfriend (24) have stolen checks and 2 credit cards totalling over a thosand dollars. What charges, fine or jail time are they looking at if convicted?

It isn't possible to guess at a sentence because that depends on too many factors including their prior records if any.
