Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I'm being sued by a collection agency and their lawyer. I've been given a court date. Can I pay this and be done with it before the court date? It's in three weeks.

If you are being sued by a collection agency, then you do not want to pay it. The lawsuit is defective, for sure. A good consumer attorney can beat a collection agency over 90% of the time.

The only time that I recommend paying a collection agency is where the lawsuit is very small, perhaps for a few hundred dollars.
