Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
i am being sued in pennsylvania civil court for credit card debt. lawyer filing suit in NJ. case has been filed in county on other side of state 7 hours away from me. Are there any requirements that the suit must be filed in the county i live in?

Yes, the lawsuit must be filed in the county that you reside or the county where the contract was made. To file it anywhere else is an FDCPA violation wherein you can file a claim against them. Contact my office for a free consult.
