Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

being sued for a repo

I had a car repo in 2003 and just got served saying they want 1000 less then I bought the car.On my credit report this acct got deleated this month because I disputed the info listed about this. Will this go back on my credit? What happens when they get their judgement? Can they take my home?I think the amount owed is inflated, they should have gotten more at auction. The day it got repo'd I made one payment.Needless to say I am scared-not sure what a judgement really is or is it something that in time I can pay and keep my home.My credit is ruined I filed for bankrupcy but it had gotten dismissed and nobody tells you what to do if it doesnt go thru.I filed 12/03 the car was repo'd 2/03

You might be able to negotiate a lesser amount. Otherwise, defend the suit, because they always tack on extra fees that can be fought. I offer free consultations.
