Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
unordered oil delivery
I had been dealing with a particular oil company on automatic delivery. I called to advise my house was for sale and did not want any more deliveries. I was told my account was placed on ''will-call'' basis. A week later, I came home to find an invoice for a tank fill-up. I spoke to the owner who said he would investigate the possibility of removing the oil and get back to me. He never returned my call and now a year later they are attempting to collect. Am I liable?

Re: unordered oil delivery
Yes or no, it depends. Have you used the oil? If so, you're likely going to have to pay for it, or for some portion of it.
If you haven't used it, then you can make the argument that they can come and get it.
