Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
Unpaid Medical Bill
I have obtained an unpaid medical bill and I have recently found out that it is now in the hands of an attorney for collections. If it continues to go unpaid, can they attach my wages for payment?

Re: Unpaid Medical Bill
if you live and work in Pennsylvania then you will not have your wages attached in Pennsylvania. If the creditor obtains a judgement they will be able to execute against assets you have such as bank accounts, furniture, cars. You should try to resolve the debt either by payment if you owe the debt or contest it if you do not owe the debt or a portion. If the debt is high enough you may need an attorney if legal action is filed
