Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

writ on bank account

I had a writ of execution on my

bank account from a credit card

company. I am and have been

working with a debt relief program

for nearly 2 years, but that company

will not negotiate a payment other

then an unrealistic amount. The

question is,can they issue yet

another writ as I had this one lifted

in a recent hearing. If so,how

soon? Any advise,I already

changed accounts but I live in a

small town and they just shower all

the banks with sophenas looking

for me. Thanks for any advise..Dave

Re: writ on bank account

When the Writ is served, there is a list of exemptions with it. You should fill out the exemption form and follow the directions on it as to where to file it. If they are executing, they already have a judgment and your only option at this point to get rid of the matter once and for all is to reach an agreement with them or pay the judgment.
