Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

1974 marijuana possession charge

In 1974 I pleaded guilty to a possession charge of a small amount of marijuana. I was told by a clerk at a jury selection summons that I could not serve on any jury because of this charge. I also know that a cannnot own a permit to carry a firearm in PA because of this (the premit does not bother me I don't need one). I was wondering if it is true that I cannot serve on a jury and more importantly what else this may affect. Also is there something I can do to resolve this issue. I have a clean record since then, married 29 years same job for that long also. Thank you.
