Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My 25 year old son is currently serving a 3-6 year sentence for rape, and other sex related charges. He is enrolled in his last required program at the prison. Is it possible for him to file for a sentence reduction or modification once he is finished with the program? If so, what are the changes of him getting his sentence reduced? Thank you.

No, he may not get a sentence modification. Sentence modification requests must be filed within 30 days of sentencing.
If he has completed all of his programming, he is eligible for parole after completion of his minimum sentence.
