Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
after 17 years a district justice office is trying to collect restitution on a bad check charge under 200$ in Pennsylvania that I could of sworn I paid but have no record of it was to a weis grocery store they knew were I lived the whole time isn't there a statute of limitations

Yes Judgments like milk have an expiry date. That said if it was restitution maybe not. Without knowing basis of the debt it's hard to say if its valid or not.
