Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

terroristic threats/harrassment

A previous client had continued to contact our company over and over again, making all types of demands, while utilizing strong profanity. Until we sent him out a termination letter, informing him that our firm would no longer be servicing his account. He subsequently became extremely abusive, maing all types and forms of threats; such as; ''I'm going to come down to your home and break your door down, to, ''I'll blow the front of your office in'', to, ''I will come out there ad hunt you down until I find you and see your mother-fu**ing face and make you fu**ing pay for not servicing my equipment, which doesn't work any fu**ing longer without your software!'' We have contacted the State Police on many numerous occassions and they have yet to do anything about this. We have well over 50 messages saved, via-answering service, whereas this person continues to make numerous verbal threats of violence against me, my family and my company.

Re: terroristic threats/harrassment

You want to seek approval of a private criminal complaint by the Office of the District Attorney. It is not a difficult process. If the District Attorney does not approve the private criminal complaint, you can file a Petition for Court Approval in your County.
