Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
tried as an adult
my son was 17 an tried as an adult for partisapating in an armed robbery. can they do this with out some type of hearing to change his statis to an adult first. thanks

Its a determination by the DA. Because your son was over 16 the DA has the option of trying him as an adult.
