how can you get a bond reduction for someone on probation

You need to first get the detainer lifted. If the charges are aggravated assault, this may or may not be possible. A Petition has to be filed with the Judge that entered the Probation sentence. If the Judge is willing to lift the detainer, then bond may be reduced or posted.
