aggravated assault

is it considered aggravated assualt if the pearson being arrested tries to jump out a window never toching arresting officers and they end up with very minor cuts from window frame trying to detain him? Perp never touched either of the arresting officers and now he is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault. along with two counts of reckless endangerment. among other misdemeaners stemming from said arrest.

It is a status agg, that is just because they are police officers (that is, their status) conduct which would otherwise be a simple assault or lesser charge could be charged as an agg because of the alleged victims status.
